Dib looked at Zim, lying on the ground. His eyes scanned several wounds over the alien, stared at the blood coming from them. For a moment he felt pain; pain as if he had hurt someone dear to him. ... Truth be told, he wanted to help Zim - he really wanted ---
"!" As if realizing something, he stepped back, bringing distance between him and Zim.
"Dib... worm...?", Zim panted, his eyes nearly closed. The boy turned around, appalled.
"Diblet..."
Quickly, he started to walk. He had to leave!
"D... Dib..."
Another moment he startled, hearing the weak voice of the alien, but shook himself and stepped onwards. Rustling came from behind.
"W... Wait...!"
Again the boy stopped, only to hear the sound of something quickly approaching, but he didn't turn around.
"Help me. Dib... Please..."
"..."
The boy was neither able to move nor to breath, his body shuddered slightly. What should he do? Should he help his dearest enemy? Pride forbade him to turn around.
Behind him, Zim's hand stayed where it was, only inches away from Dib yet not able to reach him. Pride, disgust of himself held the alien back to walk further, to reach the boy --
They couldn't move anymore.

Moar? :3 Yay! Really good job on the hand ... normally I freak at the sight of blood, but it's very interesting to look at in this one. XD 40 minutes!? That's practically light speed! :D

YAY, MOAR!! Yes, quite good practice...I already see some improvement just by looking at that hand! And they do say that doing art quickly makes you better at it. :D I only like bloody stuff when it's fascinating. Like when I'm cleaning or probing a bloody infection/blister/splinter/cut of mine, I don't even feel pain 'cause I'm so engrossed. XD

I love things like this, all impact with not much content (I don't mean that in a bad way)
I also love spindly little hands and whatnot

I don't watch Invader Zim or whatever it is, but i really like this :3
